Here are a few things to note since our last update:
Hi Pulse Family,
I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Holiday. As we gear up for our first practice next week, I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of NCVA and USA Volleyball's new membership system. Please read this email in its entirety.
USA Volleyball has launched a new membership management system through SportsEngine in which all future NCVA memberships will be purchased and maintained. With this new system, it will be much easier to locate and manage your athlete's membership and much more convenient for families with multiple athletes. Don't worry, SportsEngine has a step-by-step process to guide you through your account setup and membership registration.
First things first, you must have a SportsEngine account before you can purchase a membership for your athlete. This will be your family account with a single set of login credentials for the entire family. You as the parent/guardian will be the primary account holder, and your athlete will be under your "Household" as a sub profile. Once you purchase your athlete's membership, it will be automatically added to your household.
Please Click Here to learn more about the SportsEngine process.
Once you have created a SportsEngine account and verified your email address, you can now purchase a membership for your athlete. Please Click Here to access NCVA's Member Registration page. The only membership available for athletes is the Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec 2020 Membership which is $25 and will cover your athlete in any NCVA sanctioned, non-competition activity. If your athlete will be turning 18 during this fall season, they will have to register for the 18 and older membership and will have to complete their Safesport certification. Full Junior Athlete Memberships will be available once NCVA is allowed by the State of California to host tournaments again.
Please note that if your athlete has a current NCVA membership, it will expire on October 31, 2020. NCVA strongly recommends that if you have a current membership, you wait till that membership expires before purchasing a new one. THERE IS NO NEED TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP EARLIER THAN OCTOBER 31, 2020!
I know that this is a lot of information to take in, but it is very important that this gets taken care of as your daughter(s) cannot start practicing without a membership. Please let me know if you have any questions.
We can't wait to see you all next week!
